After a brief hiatus following the renowned Mars Yard series, Nike and Tom Sachs rejoined forces in 2022 with the NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe (GPS). With a tasteful, minimalist build the GPS was designed to perform in any possible scenario. The upper consists of a microfiber collar and a snug, ultra-breathable knit that keeps rain and snow out. Detailing informed by Sachs' previous work includes a three-piece molded cup sole, waffle tread outsole similar to the first Nike Moon Shoe, as well as an exposed foam tongue edge. Released in June of 2022, the NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe pays homage to Sachs' heritage while offering a fresh outlook on minimalist craftsmanship.
