Salehe Bembury is an American designer known for his work with various high-end fashion brands. He started his career as a footwear designer at Cole Haan before moving on to work for brands such as Versace, Yeezy, and now New Balance. He is most notably recognized for his work on the Versace Chain Reaction sneaker, which won Footwear News’ “Shoe of the Year” award in 2018. In addition to his work in fashion, Bembury is also an advocate for social justice and uses his platform to raise awareness on issues such as police brutality and racial inequality.
